About the Gala
The Gala of Grace Presented by BlueShore Financial event is a Ladies’ Luncheon which attracts 300+ key female figures from our vibrant North Shore community.
The 2020 Gala, our last in-person event, sold out in less than 2 short hours and we reached our goal, opening Janet’s Place - a two-unit transition house that, today, houses two families. Over the years, we have also been able to provide many other resources to our emergency shelter, SAGE House. We have built three full libraries for women, teens and children, respectively, and a Garden of Grace where women can find some time alone in a safe, quiet and beautiful setting while their children play close by.
Finally, we have sent kids who witness abuse to a special camp where they have the resources they need to talk about their experience. Through the Gala of Grace, we have accomplished a lot. But there are still so many more resources needed to meet the demand we are facing with domestic abuse in our community.
